The SAVAKNIFE Shirasaya katana is crafted in a traditional minimalist Japanese style. The blade is hand-forged from layered high-carbon Damascus steel, providing exceptional durability, resilience, and a distinctive pattern. Designed for collectors, martial arts practitioners, and enthusiasts of fine blades.

Blade — Damascus Steel (U8A, HVG, 5KhNM)
 • Approximately 250 layers in the inner billet
 • Hardness: 58–59 HRC
 • Strong edge retention and flexibility
 • Unique Damascus pattern created by skilled forging

 • Thickness at base: 7.5 mm
 • Width near kissaki: 24 mm
 • Thickness near kissaki: 5 mm

Fittings:
 • Mekugi and habaki — brass

Handle and Sheath — Wenge

 • Premium exotic hardwood with high density
 • Treated with protective oils for stability
